WeMeUs is designed for me. I network to help me maintain relationships, manage opportunities and help
individuals in my network do the same. I was looking for a tool that would keep me organized and on time
in my networking communications; one that would leverage my various address books in Outlook, LinkedIn and

In a matter of minutes I was up and running using the service. It did not take me hours to learn how to get
the basic functionality working. The online tutorials were a surprise and are an excellent way to learn about

I am a big fan of WeMeUs for a few reasons. First, it allows you to easily import your contacts from all of
the different places you keep them - including LinkedIn, Facebook, Outlook, etc. Second, it doesn't let you
create duplicates in the system, which can be a big problem in other databases. Third, it has a reminder feature
that lets you set when you want to be back in touch with someone - a truly useful feature for consultants who
should be regularly in touch with past clients as well as potential ones. It also has a lot (!) of fields so you can
track lots of info about someone and it even lets you track connections between members of your database so you

I have been building my technical tools and cloud-computing arsenal to bring my business up to the next
level in terms of my global expansion, productizing of services, and high-intensity niche marketing campaigns.
I have bought and used ACT, Sharepoint, as well as tried Goldmine and Intuit's Contacts Manage none of which were
more acceptable than the "free" Microsoft Outlook application that came with my computer.
I wanted to be able to cherry pick just 20 journalists out of my list of over 150 to send something interesting
to. I wanted to selectively target only the career professionals on a list of 500 that would want to buy my
webinars for their clients. Each time I came up with a campaign for my services I needed the flexibility to mix
different people from different lists on the fly. Of course, neither Outlook, nor any of the others can do what
I required. I wanted to leverage the multiple email lists and blog mailing lists that I own ranging from the
Careerzine at 5600+ and the career counselors Yahoo group of 500 to my Outlook database of 3000+ and LinkedIn
contacts now over 5000.
Up until WEMEUS, I was using large-scale impersonal list management services for the newsletter or going nutty
trying to build personalized Outlook distribution lists to target small niche markets. I ignored the small
e-groups (25 of them) and LinkedIn, as I just didn't have the time or money to invest.
I was looking for a tool that provided the high level of market targeting I wanted to do in a personalized way
when I tripped over WEMEUS. Just uploading my Outlook database and using the group categorization, plus the tags,
